PROCEEDINGS OF THE EMERGENCY COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON 25TH MAY 2005 UNDER THE PRESIENTSHIP OF DR.J.S. DALAL, DIRECTOR, RESEARCH AND MEDICAL EDUCATION, PUNJAB.
The emergency Council meeting was held in the office of the Registrar, Punjab Nurses Registration Council, SCF 47, Phase 10, Mohali under the presidentship of Dr. J.S. Dalal, Director, Research & Medical Education, Punjab at 11:00 am. Following members were present in the Council meeting :-

6. Ms. Amrit Bala, Principal, Swami Vivekanand Sch., Khanna.
7. Ms. Satwant Chawla, Principal, Sh. Guru Ram Dass Ins., Hoshiarpur.
8. Ms. Sudesh David, Ng. Supdt., CMC Hospital, Ludhiana.

Consideration of Inspection Report of Bengal Institute of Health Sciences, Raikot as per the direction of Punjab & Haryana High Court :-
The Inspection Report dated 11-5-2005 of the Bengal institute of Health Sciences, Raikot was placed before the Council members as per the directions of Hon’ble Punjab & Haryana High Court. After thorough consideration of the Inspection Report, the members unanimously decided that as the inspectors have recommended that the institution is suitable for imparting GNM Training Course. So, the Council unanimously decided that the institution is suitable for GNM Course for 50 seats. However, the members also decided that the institution should be directed to remove the deficiencies pointed out by the inspectors in their report, within one month.

The Accountant, PNRC placed the Income and Expenditure for the year 2004-05 before the Council. The Council unanimously approved the Income and Expenditure for the year 2004-05.
